The case study "LENOVO: Challenger to Leader" authored by Hadiya Faheem and Muralidhara GV of IBS, Hyderabad won the EFMD Case Writing Award 2013 in the category of Emerging Global Chinese Competitors.
The 2013 EFMD Case Writing Competition was keenly contested with 258 case entries from 30 countries for awards in 15 categories. EFMD is a globally recognized international membership organization based in Brussels, Belgium with members from the academia, business, public service and consultancy in 81 countries. It is an accreditation body of quality in management education.
The case "LENOVO: Challenger to Leader" discusses the success story of the Beijing (China) based multinational technology giant, Lenovo, in China and its emergence as a global brand from China.
