"Tyson Foods during COVID-19 Pandemic" was the Finalist in the AoM 2021 Dark Side Case Competition, conducted by the Critical Management Studies division of the Academy of Management 2021. The case was authored by Hadiya Faheem and Debapratim Purkayastha.

"Elizabeth Holmes and the Rise and Fall of Theranos Inc" was the Finalist in the AoM 2020 Dark Side Case Competition, conducted by the Critical Management Studies division of the Academy of Management 2020. The case was authored by Debapratim Purkayastha, Sanjib Dutta, and Shubhanjali Chakrabarty. 

Hyderabad, August 19, 2018: ICFAI Business School Hyderabad has won the highly prestigious Dark Side Case Award, organized by the Critical Management Studies division of Academy of Management (AOM) for the third time. The AOM Annual Meeting is the preeminent management conference in the world and its 78th conference was held in Chicago from August 10-14, 2018.

Hyderabad, August 6, 2017: The IBS case "A Sexual Harassment Complaint and the Fallout" has won the prestigious Dark Side Case Award at the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting, Atlanta, Georgia, USA in August 2017.The case was written by Ms. Syeda Maseha Qumer and Prof. Debapratim Purkayastha of ICFAI Business School, Hyderabad, along with Dr. Vijaya Narapareddy (University of Denver). This is the second time in the last three years that IBS has won this prestigious award. The other two finalist cases this year were from Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada.
