Hyderabad, March 1, 2021: ICFAI Business School case “Disney Enters Streaming Space: Can it Disrupt the Disruptor?", authored by Syeda Maseeha Qumer and Dr. Debapratim Purkayastha, won the “Knowledge, Information and Communication Systems Management” category at The Case Centre Awards 2021.

Hyderabad, March 5, 2017: The ICFAI Business School (IBS) case "Breaking the Code of Silence", written by Ms. Syeda Maseeha Qumer, Dr. Debapratim Purkayastha, and Dr. Vijaya N. Zinnoury (University of Denver, USA), won the highly prestigious 'Outstanding Case Writer' award, organized by the UK-based The Case Center.

ICFAI Business School has bagged Top Three Spots in TCC's ‘Top 50 Bestselling Case Authors 2020/21’ list. Late Prof. Deb remains at No.1 for a sixth successive year. Indu Perepu and Syeda Maseeha Qumer bagged second and third positions respectively. For the first time since the list was introduced in 2015-16, the Top 3 Bestsellers are from ICFAI Business School and overall IBS has 7 Bestsellers in the list. The other faculty who featured on the list are Sanjib Dutta (30th), G V Muralidhara (32nd), Jitesh Nair (33rd), and V Namrata Prasad (49th).
Hyderabad, April 21, 2020: ICFAI Business School Hyderabad has emerged as one of the world’s top case publishing schools ever since the prestigious Case Awards (popularly called the case method Oscars) went global in 2011. The UK-based independent home of the case method, The Case Centre (TCC), said in a release, while reflecting on the 30 years of its awards, which was earlier called the ‘European awards’ and was restricted only to European Business Schools.
Hyderabad, October 22, 2019: The UK-based, The Case Centre, which is the world’s largest repository of case studies, today revealed the Top 40 Bestselling authors for 2018/19. The Case Centre said that making it to the top 40 is an “extraordinary achievement” as there were more than 8,000 case authors worldwide. According to its press release, “Debapratim Purkayastha makes it four years at the top of the bestselling case author tree. The ICFAI Business School Dean (Case Research Center) held on to his no.1 crown by selling over 21,000 copies in 2018/19. Huge congratulations to him.”

While the most featured business school is Harvard Business School, the most featured author is from IBS – Dr. Debapratim Purkayastha with
7 bestsellers.
