This chapter examines some of the ethical issues that global
companies have to deal with. MNCs have been accused of indulging in unethical
practices in several areas. The chapter discussed some of these areas such as:
political, functional area such as sales, marketing and advertising,
environment, technology, economic and personal management.
The chapter also examines ethical concerns in Japan, Germany, France, and China.
Finally we conclude with a discussion on the social obligations of countries.
The assistance provided by America and Japan to third world countries is
