Jitesh is currently associated with IBS-CRC as a Sr. Faculty Member. With a graduate degree in Biotechnology and a post graduate management degree, he has worked in the industry and academia for over a decade each and held roles around report writing (industry and company reports), market research consulting, process management and audit, team training & development, content development (book chapters, case studies and other support material) for full-time MBA programs, curriculum design for short-term management programs, as well as teaching management courses for graduates and executives.
Jitesh currently conducts case-based research that sits on the boundaries of entrepreneurship, corporate behavior and organizational learning. His management cases are used in some of the top B-Schools including Aalto University School of Business, Finland; SDA Bocconi School of Management, Italy; University of Sussex Business School, UK; Warwick Business School, UK; Smith School of Business, Queen's University, Canada; Monash Business School, Malaysia; Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), South Africa; and Jindal Global Business School, India. He is ranked 11th in The Case Centre's list of ‘Top 50 Bestselling Case Authors’ worldwide for 2022/23. His case ‘Microsoft: Building a Collaborative Work Culture to Foster Innovation’ was the 2022-The Case Centre Awards-Category winner. Some of his cases have also won awards and notable mentions in case writing competitions conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) and Emerald Publishing.
He also supports capacity building initiatives around case writing through case workshops and student mentoring. His recent research interests revolve around human learning and its implications on individuals and teams in an organization that could help in designing uniquely positive participant-centered management learning programs.
