Prof. Debapratim Purkayastha tops the list for the fifth year in a row; Prof. D Satish breaks into the Top 40 list

Hyderabad, October 26, 2020: For the fifth year in a row Professor Debapratim Purkayastha maintained his position at the top of the Case Centre Top 40 Case Authors list 2019-20! In further good news for ICFAI Business School Hyderabad, Professor D Satish attained the 31st position in the elite list dominated by top professors from B-schools like Harvard Business School, IMD, INSEAD, etc.

A considerable achievement

The Case Centre, the independent home of the case method based in the United Kingdom, has been publishing the list since 2016. It is also the world's largest repository of case studies. Its stated mission is to advance the case method worldwide, sharing knowledge, wisdom and experience to inspire and transform business education across the globe. It is a not-for-profit organization and registered charity.

The Top 40 Case Authors list is prepared based on the total number of adoptions of cases authored by an individual. Speaking about the significance of the list, Richard McCracken, Director, The Case Centre, said: “The Case Centre's annual list of Top 40 Bestselling Case Authors recognizes the best and most impactful case authors from business schools around the world.
