Abstract

The case study is about the merger deal between ING Vysya Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank. The deal created the fourth largest private sector bank in the Indian banking industry. The case provides enough material to discuss the dynamics and the mergers in the Indian banking industry. The case also provides enough material to analyze and discuss the synergies and challenges of the merger deal of ING Vysya and Kotak Mahindra bank.
