Abstract

This caselet is about a Paralympic swimmer named Sharath Gayakwad. In October 2014, he won medals under six categories at the Asian Para Games held at South Korea. Though born with a dysfunctional left arm, he never surrendered to the adversities. With extreme hard work and strong determination he went ahead in life to face criticism and competitions. Under the guidance of Coach John Christopher, Sharath was trained to maintain the equilibrium of the body while swimming. Sharath since his childhood received many accolades which included 40 national and 30 international medals.
