Two IBS Hyderabad Case Studies Winners in ecch Case Awards

Winners are from the Best B-Schools from across the Globe

IBS Hyderabad case studies -- "Sony Corporation - Future Tense?" and "Meltdown in Iceland: Biggest Casualty of the 2008 Global Financial Crisis" -- each one a category award in the prestigious ecch Case Awards, organized by ecch (formerly European Case Clearing House). The first case, written by Prof. Vivek Gupta and Ms. Indu Perepu, won in the 'Human Resource Management / Organisational Behaviour' category; the second case, written by Ms. Vandana Guttal and Mr. Seshagiri Rao Chaganty, won in the 'Finance, Accounting and Control' category. The winning case in each category is the one that has achieved the highest growth in popularity among peers worldwide, based on the number of individual organizations ordering and teaching the case during the last calendar year.

The other category award winners were from Harvard Business School, INSEAD, Cambridge Judge Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, London Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, Nagoya University of Commerce & Business/Ivey Publishing, Cranfield School of Management and Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University).
