INTRODUCTION
The Newway Bright Stock Fund (Newway Fund) was founded by J. K. Negi (Negi) in 1991 with an initial investment of Rs. 15 million. In the first two decades of its establishment, Newway Fund focused on value investment with the objective of long-term capital appreciation. This investment approach helped Newway Fund grow from a small firm to a mid-sized close-ended investment company by the end of 2014 when its corpus size crossed Rs. 750 million.
