Abstract

In the wake of mounting Internet privacy threats, Google had called on nations, governments and businesses to arrive at a global standard which would govern privacy over the Internet. While the move had been welcomed by some analysts, others felt that Google was trying to shift the attention away from privacy concerns raised against it.
