Abstract

In early 2008, the guest workers from India working in a US marine construction and fabrication company, Signal International, LLC alleged that the company ran a nexus of human trafficking along with Indian recruiters to pool in cheap labor and later exploit them. The company and the recruiters vehemently denied the allegations.
