Abstract

A hospital’s expansion in scale and scope is spearheaded by a versatile and much-loved doctor who takes up the role of a Medical Officer and rises to become the Medical Director. This fictitious case (based on generalized experience) discusses the dilemma faced by the founder when there is an adverse change in the leadership style of the Medical Director.
