Sanofi was a multinational
pharmaceutical company headquartered in Paris, France. Founded in1973,
the company was engaged in manufacturing and marketing pharmaceutical
drugs. It was the world's fifth largest in prescription sales. Sanofiwas
present in more than 100 countries with 112 industrial sitesin 41
countries. These included 82 sites in pharmaceutics, 12 sites in vaccines, and 18 sites in animal health. It had more than 20 Research and Development sites and more than 110,000 collaborations.
