Submission Guidelines

Submission of Abstract

Submit case abstract along with Intent to Participate Form' on or before July 30, 2012 to abstr_icsc2012@ibsindia.org

  • Case abstract should not be more than 250 words
  • Send the document electronically in MS-Word format (Times New Roman, 12, double spaced)
  • Should deal with a recent, real business situation (note that fictitious cases will not be accepted)
  • Must be in American English
  • Submit brief author(s) profile (4-5 lines each)

Submission of Cases

Submit the completed case studies to cases_icsc2012@ibsindia.org on or before 30th Aug 2012.

  • Cases should be unpublished
  • Case should not be more than 5,000 words (excluding exhibits)
  • Should be based on either field research or secondary research
  • o In case of field research, enclose a Letter or Authorization from the company
    o Proper citations are necessary in case of secondary research
  • Should be accompanied by a comprehensive teaching note consisting of a case synopsis, learning objectives, teaching plan, assignment questions and analysis
  • Send the document electronically in MS-Word format
  • Format
  • o Narrative Text - Times New Roman, 11, double spaced
    o Title - Times New Roman, 14, Bold
    o Subtitle - Times New Roman, 12 Bold
    o Footnotes - Times New Roman, 9
  • All the exhibits, tables, financials and annexure be placed at the end of the document (should not exceed 10 pages)
  • Must be in American English
  • Copying or plagiarism will disqualify the case study
  • Accompanied by Letter of Authorization (if applicable)
