American multinational conglomerate, News Corp, was incorporated in 1979 in Australia and was headquartered in New York. Rupert Murdoch was the founder, Chairman, and CEO of the News Group which was the world's second largest media house in terms of revenue, as of 2011. As on September 30, 2011, the company had total annual revenues of approximately US$34 billion.
