Robert Wood Johnson (Robert), an American entrepreneur, was born on February 20, 1845 , in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. In 1864 , he moved to New York City to work at Roushton & Aspinwall where he came into contact with George J Seaburgy (George), who was later to become Robert's partner in their company Seabury and Johnson.
