Introduction
On May 22, 2019, Brazil-based cosmetic company Natura & Co (Natura) agreed to acquire its competitor Avon Products, Inc (Avon) in an all-stock deal. The acquisition would create the fourth largest beauty company in the world. The combining of the two companies would create a best-in-class multi-brand and multi-channel beauty group, with direct connections to consumers on a daily basis, analysts observed.
