On April 8, 2022, US-based telecom giant AT&T Inc.’s (AT&T) media segment, WarnerMedia, and global media and entertainment company Discovery, Inc. (Discovery) announced that they had completed their merger to form an independent global media and entertainment company, Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. (WBD).
