| It was April 10, 2019, Amit Basin (Amit), an analyst with Silver Oak Research (Silver Oak), a financial service provider based in Mumbai, India, was in his cabin waiting for Akanksha Garg (Akanksha), an intern from one of the leading business schools in India. On April 9, Amit had been given the task of evaluating the Indian IT industry and submitting a report by the end of the month. Amit was a little concerned about completing the work on time as one-third of the month had already elapsed. He thought of taking Akanksha’s help to complete the work within the given timeframe. Amit had identified the top five Indian IT companies based on revenues and when Akanksha arrived, he asked her to start with TCS and send in her report by Friday, April 12, 2019. He decided to take a look at Akanksha’s work during the weekend (April 13-14, 2019) before asking her to begin working on the other companies.
