Introduction
In 2005, Dave Dahl (Dave), a convicted felon who spent fifteen years in prison with charges ranging from armed robbery, assault and drug distribution came out of prison. His older brother Glenn offered him an opportunity to rejoin the family’s bakery business, Nature Bake, in Milwaukie, Oregon, USA. Glenn asked Dave to come out with a product that would help revitalize Nature Bake. Dave worked tirelessly to come out with nutty flavored crunchy textured bread with variety of whole grains and seeds. Glenn started selling the bread in the Farmers’ Market.
