Kerala`s `Shailaja Teacher` – Leading through Crises

Born on November 20, 1956, in Kuthuparamba city of Kerala, Shailaja completed her Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) from Pazhassi Raja N.S.S. College, Mattanur, Kerala, and her Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from Visvesvarayya College, Kottayam, Kerala, in 1980. She then served as a high school teacher in Science (Chemistry) at Shivapuram High School, Kannur, Kerala.
