| On May 11, 2019, Deveshwar, the longest serving CEO at ITC Ltd (ITC), passed away after a prolonged battle with cancer (Refer to Exhibit I for Deveshwar’s journey in ITC). Deveshwar, 72, joined ITC very early in his career and was instrumental in reinventing the company. He took over as ITC's executive chairman in 1996. In 2017, he switched to a non-executive role due to his failing health. He received the coveted Padma Bhushan in 2011 for his distinguished service.
