In the year 2005, Anil Ambani (Anil), younger son of Indian business tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani (Dhirubhai), has got the telecom, energy, and financial services businesses as a part of his share from the family-owned conglomerate Reliance Industries Limited (RIL).
