About Apple

Apple’s history dated back to 1976 when it was founded by Steve Jobs (Jobs), Steve Wozniak (Wozniak), and Ronald Wayne (Wayne) with the stated aim of selling Wozniak’s hand-built personal computer called Apple I.

Just a few weeks into the job, Wayne quit the company. He was the one who had made the first logo of Apple which was later changed to the bitten apple logo designed by American graphic designer Rob Janoff in 1977.

On January 3, 1977, Apple Computer Inc. was incorporated. Mike Markkula, a multimillionaire, offered business expertise and funding to Apple. He appointed Michael Scott as the company’s first president and CEO.
