A Note on Longi Solar

LONGi was founded in 2000 as Xi’an Xinmeng Electronic Technology Co. Ltd. In 2002, Xi’an LONGi Silicon Technology Co. Ltd., was established. The company started its first batch of 18 monocrystalline silicon furnaces in 2005. In 2007, the company changed its name to Xi’an LONGi Silicon Materials Co, Ltd. The company built a 350 MW Mono Silicon Wafer Project in 2009.

In 2011, the LONGi Research and Development Center was set up and in 2012, the company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The company established its subsidiary Xi’an LONGi Clean Energy Co. Ltd. in 2014
