Background
While working in New York in the early 2000s, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) graduate, Chulet was inspired by the American classified website Craigslist that had disrupted the traditional classifieds market. When Chulet came to India to start his own online classifieds platform, he realized that Indians preferred to see, touch, and feel a product before making a purchase decision. He thought of a similar handshake platform for India, which would allow buyers and sellers to meet, chat, bargain, and strike deals.
