Background

On December 31, 2019, China alerted the WHO that it had identified 44 cases of pneumonia with an unknown cause. Although there had been several cases of pneumonia in December in Wuhan, China, this was the day that the world's attention was drawn to the mysterious disease. On January 6, 2020, Chinese authorities isolated a virus, which was subsequently identified as a new type of Coronavirus. On February 11, 2020, the disease was given a name, the COVID-19. By mid-February 2020, the COVID-19 had spread to the UK, France, Africa, and Italy. On March 8, 2020, Italy, which had become the worst affected region, went into lockdown. Iran also became one of the badly affected countries. On March 11, 2020, the WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic. As of April 02, 2020, there were more than 1 million confirmed cases globally with more than 75,000 recorded deaths. By April 08, 2020, the disease had killed over 88,000 people. ..
