About The Bond Issue
It was not the first time APSEZ was issuing the bond. Earlier, in FY21, the company had raised US$1.55 billion in three separate instances of dollar debt issuance and this was the first US$ debt issue by APSEZ in FY22. The issuance process of US$750 million bonds started on July 9, 2021, when, as per listing regulations 29 and 30, APSEZ informed the stock exchanges (BSE and NSE) that the company’s board of directors was going to meet on July 14, 2021, to consider the issue of long-term US$ bonds..
