In 2019, Dublin-based Experian plc, a multinational consumer credit reporting company, launched a new analytical tool known as predictive workforce analytics. According to the company, this analytical method had emerged as a game changing solution to Experian’s workforce attrition problem. ThoughExperian was known for its employee oriented policies, it had been struggling with a high attrition rate since 2016. Employee attrition had resulted in the company losing key talent across the organization and also increased recruitment costs. With every 1 percent turnover increase, the company was losing nearly US$3 million in terms of profit.
