Introduction

On July 10, 2020, Supratim Sarkar (Sarkar), head of Corporate Strategy and Operations at TechVision Pvt. Ltd. (TechVision), an Indian multinational technology company headquartered in Bengaluru, received a call from the CEO, S.S. Murthy (Murthy). Murthy had called to inform Sarkar that TechVision’s Board of Management (BoM) would meet at the end of August 2020. The confirmed date would be communicated by August 15.
