Equinor ASA (Equinor), earlier Statoil and StatoilHydro, was a Norwegian multinational energy company headquartered in Stavanger, Norway. The company was formed from three Norwegian petroleum companies – Statoil, Norsk Hydro, and Saga Petroleum.
