On March 29, 2019, less than a month after declaring store closures following the bankruptcy filing, Charlotte Russe announced that the company would be selling its brand and related intellectual property to the fashion house and retailer YM Inc. As a result of the sale, YM Inc. planned to re-launch the brand and open 100 new stores across the country and launch "a brand new online shopping experience."
