Introduction
On November 30, 2020, more than 300,000 farmers from the states of Punjab and Haryana in North Western India marched to New Delhi, the capital city of India, and set up camps to block the roads that led to the capital to protest against the farm bills that had been passed by the parliament in September 2020.
