About Kurtz and Crowdstrike

George Kurtz (Kurtz) was born in New Jersey in 1965. In 1992, he earned a degree in accounting from Seton Hall University. Soon after completing his graduation, Kurtz started working at UK-based multinational professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers International Limited as an accountant.

Kurtz also had a flair for writing. In 1999, he along with his best friends, Stuart McClure and Joyce Cambrian, wrote a book about cyber security for network administrators titled ‘Hacking Exposed’. The book sold more than 600,000 copies and was translated into over 30 languages..
