On May 1, 2023, one of China’s leading smart electric vehicle (EV) companies, Guangzhou Xiaopeng Motors Technology Co. Ltd or XPeng, Inc. (XPeng), announced that it had delivered a total of 7,079 EVs in April 2023. The same month, XPeng debuted the G6, a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) , at the ‘20th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Auto Shanghai)’ (See Exhibit I).
