Introduction
Johnson & Johnson Vision (J&J Vision), the ophthalmology products division of the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) group of companies, declared in 2022 that its headquarters and manufacturing sites in Jacksonville, Florida, were powered entirely by solar energy . This brought the company closer to achieving its ‘Health for Humanity’ goals. Since 2016, J&J had had five yearly plans called ‘Health for Humanity’ (Refer to Exhibit I for ‘Health for Humanity’), which intended to create social, environmental, and economic value for its stakeholders and society at large. J&J Vision embraced the goals under J&J’s ‘Health for Humanity’ 2025 so as to help the parent company achieve its goals.
