Challenges in Implementing Sustainability Initiatives
The biggest challenge that J&J Vision faced was in achieving its third goal – reducing by 2030, the absolute upstream value chain (Scope 3) emissions by 20% from 2016 levels. The company had a diverse mix of suppliers as it had to buy various kinds of materials for manufacturing purposes. Looking Forward
J&J Vision intended to focus on a two way approach to deal with the challenges it faced with attainment of the Scope 3 target.
