In June 2023, the Information Technology (IT) industry in India reacted with shock to news of a job recruitment scam at leading IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). TCS is a part of India’s leading multinational conglomerate the Tata Sons. The scam was unveiled following a written complaint by a whistleblower against the Global Head of the Resource Management Group (RMG) at TCS, E.S.Chakravarthy (Chakravarthy).
