A Note on Sonalika Group
The Sonalika Group was started in 1969 in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. The group was initially involved in manufacturing farm equipment and growing wheat seeds. In 1996, it entered the tractor manufacturing segment and established Sonalika International Tractors Limited. In 2000, Sonalika entered into a joint venture with Renault, France and in 2005, it entered into a tie-up with Yanmar, Japan, for the manufacture of tractors.
