Munjal, Doda, and Bhutna were cousins who grew up together in Panchkula in the Indian state of Punjab. They were from a family of entrepreneurs in which business discussions were a staple at the dinner table. In the mid-2010s, after the cousins had completed their education (See Exhibit III for Information on the Cousins Educational Background), they began thinking about setting up a business together.
