Introduction
On July 17th 2024, Michael Wirth (Wirth) CEO and Chairman of Chevron Corporation (Chevron) , a US-based multinational energy company won the The John D. Kemp CEO award as part of the 2024 Inclusion awards announced by Disability:IN .was recognized in the 2023 Disability Equality Index by The American Association of People with Disabilities and Disability: IN, with a 100 percent score. Chevron believed that attracting, hiring, developing and retaining individuals with talents, creative ideas and experiences would help propel innovation and drive its business success. It fostered diversity and inclusion at all levels of the organization across subsidiaries and divisions including at Chevron Stations Inc (CSI), the company-owned and operated gas stations located throughout Washington, California and Oregon states in the US. CSI sold gasoline and convenience products at its retail stations and it had over 3,000 employees operating over 300 stations.
