Introduction
Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited (Antony), one of the leading players in Indian Municipal Solid Waste Management (MSW) services, had a track record of more than 17 years. Antony provided a full spectrum of waste management services to selected municipalities and municipal corporations in India. It offered collection, transportation, processing, disposal, and recycling of MSW. Antony had pioneered the Collection and Transportation segment of MSW in India and had in-house expertise in the construction and management of landfills in India.
Besides providing collection and transportation services, the company also offered mechanized sweeping services and processing and collection of demolished construction waste, and was present in the Waste to Energy (WTE) segment, converting MSW into a recyclable and reusable source of power. The year 2022-23 was a landmark in its history, as the company commissioned its first integrated Waste to Energy Project at Moshi, Pimpri, Maharashtra, India.
